Tuesdays: regular prayer meeting at 11:00 in the back hall at Memorial chapel. Warm welcome to all!

Wednesdays: Cefnogi help centre 10:00 - 12:00 in Memorial back hall. *No Cefnogi on 9th September, sorry!*

Sunday 20th @ 4:30- Croesfan Welsh gathering: we will not be holding a service but invite anyone who attends or has an interest in Welsh chapels locally to come and discuss our direction and plans for the future. Tea, coffee and cake available for all who come!

Monday 7th September @ 6:30- a new Youth Church, 'Curiad' (meaning: Beat) held in the LYCC. Less formal, younger people (!), opportunities to listen and ask questions. First session will be to plan our direction - come and have a chat!

Sunday services are now being held in Rhys Prichard Memorial Hall (the Drill Hall), Waterloo Street at 11:00.

Mid week meetings are still in the chapel back hall.

I have noticed a current trend in churches naming communion (Eucharist – breaking bread and wine, ‘holy communion’) services in honour, or to celebrate various apostles, evangelists, Bible characters or so called ‘saints’. How should Christians view this, what should we think about it? The real heart of the matter is not ‘what’ is communion for so much, but ‘who’ is it celebrating and remembering, and why? Be careful, little ears, what you hear

A story has been circulating in recent days which claims that a pastor from Burnley, England, was told that the Bible verse he had displayed on the back of his camper van could be considered hate speech.
